Cover design made for a Mix CD “bold”

I love Architecture In Helsinki and so does one of my friends. - I send him out the new album “Places Like This” with a self-made cover design. (Hey, the original design is great, too! Get it here!!!)

“calender.pdf” was set up by Karin last year. 12 Hannover based graphic artists got together and designed a cool calendar.
I got the month May. You’ll see my friends KC and Randi on the sheet as well as my girl. ;) We had a wonderful time traveling through California that time… It’s all about vacation!

This was a poster series of three DIN-A0 sized posters. It was related to environmental pollution and the habits of people not to stop it. At all.

Actually this was a christmas gift for my girl friend. It contains mostly photos i took withiin we were traveling the world. As it keeps some funny stories I experienced with my friends in Wisconsin - as the band “The Underwater Water Farm”. I would love to post the whole book – but it’s too extensive.

The CD-W-2005. This is my cover artwork for the first mix-CD-exchange-party “CD-W”.

surge is an fictive - digital, but off-line - magazine. It comes with a nice packaging as well.
This was my final project - my diploma at university.
“surge” is an off line digital magazine.
The whole idea was about putting together a DVD containing multi media as video - music - images and stories.
I programmed everything with Flash. (I’d love to put the flash-file on-line some day.. ;) But it’s huge. I think about 450 MB…)
Besides that it comes with a screen printed cover and some nice packaging. (And a soundtrack CD for my closest friends as well! - containing all music that was used in the application…)

Making Mix-CDs is awesome. So was the Awesome Audio Affair back in 2005. Set up by awesome dude Marq.

A folder system I designed. It’s holding all my stuff: Diploma, portfolio on a disk, letters of reference, CV and ;) business card.
I used on of my fav emigre-fonts: Tarzana

This publication was created within a project at university. Mainly conceptual work with a hint of graphic design. The book shows all the way from vinyl to illegal mp3-downloads in music biz.
I had a few meetings with several artists like John Roderick from The Long Winters and I visited the guys from Compost Records in Munich.
The book is handcrafted in an series of only four copies. 20×20cm, 59 pages.
